This research product was the result of the efforts of the Gicead-End research group of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the Institución Universitaria Escuela Nacional Del Deporte. It is oriented towards a review of the development of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach towards the new century and the Latin American environmental challenges, taking into account the constant change in the context of the problems and, therefore, the urgent innovations in the responses of organizations to those changes. For this reason, it is essential to investigate the alternatives that are consolidating in the social and organizational scenario in the face of these changes, in this case, focusing on the existing body of theory on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
