She holds a Masters degree in Life Writing from University of East Anglia and is presently a Ph.D. candidate and nonfiction writing lecturer at Teachers College, Columbia University. Amanda MacInnis Hackney (PhD, Wycliffe College, University of Toronto) served as a college and seminary course instructor for seven years, teaching classes in theology, spiritual formation, and ethics. She is the architect and curator of the Women and Theology Research Database. Matthew Brake (M.Div., Regent University) is the series editor for the Theology and Pop Culture series and runs the Popular Culture and Theology blog.
