Michelle Harrison was born in Essex. She is the author of novels for children and young adults, most recently the best-selling A PINCH OF MAGIC and its sequel, A SPRINKLE OF SORCERY. Her debut, THIRTEEN TREASURES, won the 2009 Waterstones Children's Book Prize. She writes full-time and lives with her son and cats. @MHarrison13 Elissa Elwick is an award-winning children's book illustrator and author based in Cardiff. She worked as a nanny and a bookseller before she started writing and illustrating children's books full time. She loves helping even the most reluctant of little artists find their voice and get creative, and hopes that every single reader of the The Gumdrops knows that their imagination is special, unique and a real life super power!
