Helen Oxenbury is an English illustrator and author of over 100 books for young children, and has sold over 50 million copies. She is widely regarded as one of the world's most eminent and critically-acclaimed illustrators. Helen's books include the beloved We're Going on a Bear Hunt, written by Michael Rosen; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll; Farmer Duck, written by Martin Waddell; and her own classic board books for babies. Helen is a two-time winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal, received the Carnegie Medal for Illustration and won the BookTrust Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, a joint win with her late husband and world-renowned illustrator John Burningham. She lives in London.
