Premananda spent fifteen years with his first Master, Osho, and five years with the great Advaita Master H.W.L. Poonja (Papaji), a direct disciple of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. Premananda first came to Papaji in Lucknow in 1992. He was surprised by Papaji's enormous availability and after three weeks, identification with a separate 'I' dropped. His search came to an end. Premananda stayed with his Master in Lucknow for a further five years, running a guesthouse and the Sangha bookshop. These years brought immense understanding and wisdom. His deep love for India and Sri Ramana Maharshi led him to meet and befriend many Indian Saints and Masters. Since 1998 Premananda has travelled widely in Australia, India and Europe offering Satsang meetings most evenings and weekends, wherever he is invited. Presently he lives in a Satsang community in Germany and offers Satsang meetings throughout Europe. He enjoys art and beauty and is himself a painter. His recent books, Papaji Amazing Grace, Arunachala Talks and Blueprints for Awakening (Indian Masters) are published by Open Sky Press in English and German. He is working on his next book, Blueprints for Awakening (Western Masters).
