David Schuyler is a professor of American studies at Franklin and Marshall College. He is the author of The New Urban Landscape: The Redefinition of City Form in Nineteenth-Century America and coeditor of three volumes of the The Papers of Frederick Law Olmsted. Jane Turner Censer is the coeditor of Volume's 4 and 6 of The Papers of Frederick Law Olmsted.
