Jacque Plante, the first NHL goalie to regularly wear a protective facemask, won the Vezina Trophy seven times and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Raymond Plante has published over 32 award-winning books of fiction and non-fiction. He has also written for radio and television. He lives in Montreal, Quebec, dividing his time between writing and teaching at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
